About the Founder
Patrice Brantley is a LMHC from Florida. During her 6 year tenure as a counselor she worked with a vast demographic of clients to include adolescent, adults, couples, and families. In addition, to providing services in the South Florida area, the past five years have been spent in Tampa Bay. Patrice came to the realization that therapy combined with community resources, and spiritual guidance gives others the opportunity for resilience and healing.
Patrice is an alum of FAMU, located in Tallahassee, Florida. There she received a Bachelor of Science in education. Upon graduation she first worked in the Miami-Dade and then the Broward county school systems. Both opportunities provided a wonderful learning experience. Living in Florida has instilled a love for the beaches, local museums, sporting events, and long walks in nature.
Patrice is a former educator and currently has roles as an author, consultant, counselor, entrepreneur and community leader. She utilizes her life experiences to engage and support people of all ages reach their full potential. As an accomplished educator, Patrice taught for a combined total of 16 1⁄2 years in both the Broward and Miami-Dade school system. For several years she has served as a co-facilitator and volunteer with the I AM Ministries and The Women’s Empowerment Hour. Both of these organizations were in the Broward and Miami-Dade areas. In 2011, she was awarded “The Woman of Empowerment Award.”
Currently, Patrice’s latest endeavor is inspiring the multitudes on a weekly basis with her world-renowned radio show, The Seed Sowing Sistah Movement. Patrice’s motto is simple yet powerful, “Be inspired to be yourself, Be inspired to empower someone else.” These words not only described her life but will one day be the legacy and message that she leaves behind in the global community.
